Megan Podowski has over 15 years’ experience in program development, evaluation, and performance management with organizations focused on preventing and ending homelessness. She has significant experience both in the design and management of direct services for people experiencing homelessness and in grants administration, contract compliance, and financial management. Ms. Podowski brings subject matter expertise in Housing First, high-fidelity rapid rehousing, the Homeless Management Information System, the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, and the HUD Continuum of Care program. At TAC, she supports the goals of the SSVF Program Office and the VA Homeless Programs Office, and serves as a coach for communities to create a One Team approach and bridge gaps in each unique system.
Before joining TAC, Ms. Podowski held leadership roles at major homeless service providers in Austin, TX and was an original member of the Austin Homeless Veterans Initiative that led the community in meeting United States Interagency Council on Homelessness benchmarks for ending Veteran homelessness
