Erica Snyder’s specialties include strategic planning, change management, strategic positioning, community engagement, program development, and research. Her broad experience spans the public and nonprofit sectors, including local, state, and federal governments, national networks of nonprofits, and philanthropy. Her work includes facilitating strategic planning efforts for public entities such as the UC Davis Health System, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Sonoma County Community Development Commission. While at the San Diego Housing Commission, she guided and oversaw the development of Housing First-San Diego, the agency’s largest initiative to end homelessness. This initiative included creating and managing the City’s first ever homelessness prevention and diversion program, landlord engagement, operating a rapid rehousing program for all populations, as well as providing funding for the development of permanent supportive housing. Ms. Snyder also drafted nine Consolidated Plans and provides technical assistance related to Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) funding. She holds a Change Management Certificate from Prosci.
