California Racial Equity Action Lab
The California Racial Equity Action Lab (REAL) works with California’s Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention Program grantees to foster transformative learning grounded in racial equity best practices .
Emergency Housing Voucher Program Technical Assistance
As a lead technical assistance provider for HUD, TAC has been closely involved in helping its Emergency Housing Voucher program prevent more than 35,000 households from becoming homeless.
Implementing Effective Medicaid Supported Mobile Crisis Services (Webinar)
In collaboration with partners, TAC developed and facilitated a national webinar reviewing effective approaches and addressing common questions regarding financing and reimbursement strategies, standards and service definitions, and how to effectively track and evaluate outcomes.
Medicaid Behavioral Health Strategic Planning Support in Ohio
In partnership with asset management firm Mercer, TAC facilitated the procurement process for Ohio RISE (Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence), a specialized Medicaid managed care program for youth with complex behavioral health and multi-system needs.
Monitoring Grants for Rhode Island’s Statewide Continuum of Care
In 2023 and in several previous years, TAC has worked with Rhode Island’s CoC to monitor each of its 30+ grants, with the goal of improving both performance and compliance.
National Governors Association SUD Learning Collaborative
The National Governors Association engaged TAC to offer specific subject matter expertise to states on evidence-based interventions to link individuals affected by SUDs to care and treatment.
Olmstead Assessment & Analysis in North Carolina
TAC’s system assessment and analysis provided the data as well as a framework for drafting a comprehensive Olmstead plan to address cross-disability needs.
Supportive Housing for Women with HIV/AIDS Experiencing Violence
TAC has supported this joint project of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), providing technical assistance to eight demonstration sites.
Systems of Care for Homelessness and Substance Use Disorders in Portland, OR
At the request of the Homeless Strategy and Solutions Initiative, TAC delivered a report describing the essential features of an SUD system of care for the Portland Metro Area, and provided recommended initial actions to execute cross-system alignment and coordination.
The Systems Alignment Innovation Hub
The Systems Alignment Innovation Hub (SAIH) is a nationwide project to help medical, social service, and public health providers in low-income and Black, Brown, and Indigenous (BBI) communities dismantle inequities
The TAC Rural Housing Initiative
TAC’s Rural Housing Initiative helps housing development organizations, Community Development Corporations, community housing development organizations, local governments, and Tribal governments to carry out affordable housing activities for low-income families and individuals in rural areas.
Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program Implementation
From initial planning through the challenges of implementation, TAC works with many communities that have received HUD Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) awards.
