Under a contract with California’s Department of Housing and Community Development launched in 2019, TAC provided 24 mostly rural and suburban communities with capacity-building assistance to enhance their homeless crisis response systems. For the Central Sierra Continuum of Care, comprising Amador, Calaveras, Tuolomne, and Mariposa counties, TAC facilitated a six-month strategic planning process that included public and stakeholder meetings, system flow mapping, and data analysis. The full CoC adopted the strategic plan, setting the stage for all four counties to move in tandem towards their goals of ending homelessness in the Central Sierra CoC.
