In 2020, TAC assisted Father Bill’s & MainSpring, a Massachusetts-based service provider, with the development of an evaluation and quality improvement plan to help guide implementation of housing support and eviction defense services funded as part of the state’s Flexible Services Program, a component of the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiative authorized under a Medicaid 1115 demonstration. In developing the plan, TAC reviewed program and ACO reporting requirements and helped to establish practical measures to meet those requirements. TAC also reviewed the agency’s existing data collection infrastructure and processes in order to identify opportunities to leverage existing systems to track and report on outcomes. TAC also provided recommendations for implementing internal quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing quality services monitoring and implementation, as well as input from service recipients.
