Monique Price, M.S.

Monique Price, M.S., is a strategic innovator, and the Senior Manager, Community Engagement & Transformational Learning for ARC4Justice. Monique has over 15 years of experience in racial equity, supportive housing, systems transformation, community engagement, capacity building and training, and technical assistance. She is a member of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Data Workgroup that is working to coordinate and align equitable practices and processes to ensure an equity lens is embedded in all aspects of technical assistance being provided throughout the country. Monique was also instrumental in co-creating the People with Lived Experience and Expertise of Homelessness and Data Decision-Making Toolkit released in 2024 to offer suggestions on how People with Lived Experience and Expertise, community partners, and Continuums of Care (CoCs) can partner on data projects and additional local data decision-making efforts. It includes resources on partnership practices, compensation, and training.

In her former role as Program Manager for the New England Region with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, Monique managed a diverse portfolio of training and technical assistance clients for supportive housing providers. She was instrumental in advancing racially equitable solutions through operationalizing the Connecticut Race Equity Framework for Housing and Homelessness stakeholders. She was recently elected to serve as one of the co-chairs for the Connecticut Balance of State CoC.

Monique has devoted most of her career to empowering the lives of young people in Connecticut. She has served as a consultant with the Obama Foundation’s Hartford Community Leadership Corps program. As a servant leader, she currently serves on the CT Race Equity Council for Leadership Greater Hartford and is a former board member of Epsilon Omicron Omega Foundation for Excellence where she served three years as the financial secretary.

Monique received a master’s degree in counseling with a specialization in student development in higher education from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s degree in communication from Eastern Connecticut State University.
