Arvind Sooknanan (he, him, his) is a seasoned leader and advocate with a diverse background spanning community activism, nonprofit management, and political campaign strategy. At TAC, Mr. Sooknanan works on projects related to behavioral health, including crisis services, roles for peers and people with lived expertise, reducing stigma, and solutions to homelessness. Mr. Sooknanan serves on the Board of Directors at Fountain House, a national mental health nonprofit that uses community as a form of therapy, where he oversees strategic planning, fiscal management, and programmatic innovations. With his firsthand experience, he serves as a prominent spokesperson, influencing policy on local, state, and federal levels and securing funding for vital community projects. Mr. Sooknanan combines strategic vision with hands-on experience to drive impactful change.
