CMS Issues Info Bulletin on 811 & Other Housing Resources to Support Olmstead Implementation

On June 18, the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services issued an informational bulletin describing various resources available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support states in meeting their obligations under the Olmstead decision. Among other things, the bulletin includes information about the Frank Melville Supportive Housing Investment Act and the new Section 811 Project Rental Assistance (PRA) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) that requires a formal written agreement between the state Medicaid and housing finance agencies.
