TAC has assembled for its VA TA Initiative 15 experts who work to expand the array of funding resources accessed/leveraged by non-profit agencies serving homeless veterans, and to strengthen the ability of non-profits to incorporate best practices into the continuum of programs available to serve homeless veterans.

 

TAC's expertise includes the design and implementation of veterans-specific and HUD McKinney-Vento homeless assistance programs, as well as extensive knowledge of other mainstream housing and service programs and resources.

 

Core areas of competency include:

• grant development, including the VA Homeless Providers Grant & Per Diem program

• program development, financing and implementation of permanent supportive housing, rental assistance, and homelessness prevention programs

• real estate financing and the development of permanent supportive housing

• needs analysis and program evaluation strategies
