TAC has strategic partnerships with national philanthropic and advocacy and trade organizations that foster the mutual goals of advancing public policy and expanding access to affordable and permanent supportive housing and best practice services.

The Melville Charitable Trust

The Melville Charitable Trust supports TAC's policy and advocacy efforts to expand affordable and permanent supportive housing opportunities for the lowest income people with disabilities, including numerous successful policy and advocacy campaigns to improve the federal government's response to these needs.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has funded important TAC initiatives to assist states and community agencies to expand quality treatment and services as well as permanent supportive housing opportunities for people with disabilities. RWJF has also supported TAC's national policy work related to integrated community housing and services for people with disabilities.

The John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation

TAC works in partnership with the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation's Models for Change initiative to accelerate reform of juvenile justice systems across the country.

Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) - Housing Task Force

TAC provides housing-related policy and technical support to this Washington DC-based affiliation of national disability groups that works with federal agencies and Congress to expand affordable and permanent supportive housing opportunities for people with disabilities who are homeless, institutionalized, or at risk of these conditions.

National Low Income Housing Coalition

TAC partners with the National Low Income Housing Coalition on policy and advocacy initiatives which expand the availability of decent, safe, and affordable housing for extremely low-income households below 30 percent of Area Median Income.

National Alliance to End Homelessness

TAC works in partnership with the National Alliance to End Homelessness to improve federal policies to prevent and end homelessness and to develop and expand successful practices to achieve these goals in communities across the country.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

TAC provides support and guidance for NAMI and its affiliates on the impact of federal policies regarding community integration, housing, Medicaid, and health reform, and on how to advocate, plan for, and implement best practice policy, systems and services design, and financing in the community.

National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD)

TAC supports and informs NASMHPD and its membership on issues related to Medicaid, housing, and health reform, and participates annually in the NASMHPD/Harvard Executive Training Program to prepare new mental health commissioners for management of state public mental health systems.

The Arc of the United States

TAC provides support to The Arc and its affiliates to expand the availability of affordable and supportive housing and community-based services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law

TAC collaborates with the Bazelon Center on policy and advocacy strategies which expand high quality housing and community-based supports for people with mental illness. 

Corporation for Supportive Housing

TAC collaborates with CSH nationally and with its local offices to expand permanent supportive housing opportunities for vulnerable people who are homeless and have disabilities or chronic health conditions.
