- About TAC
The Technical Assistance Collaborative, Inc. (TAC) is a national nonprofit organization that advances proven solutions to the housing and community support services needs of low-income people with disabilities and people who are homeless. For almost 25 years, TAC has provided policy leadership, technical assistance and consultation for numerous federal, state and local government agencies, as well as for national policy and advocacy, philanthropic, and nonprofit organizations.
TAC's collaborative consulting model deploys multidisciplinary teams of experts with public and nonprofit sector experience administering and providing services for people involved in mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, child welfare, juvenile justice, homeless, and affordable housing systems. Led by nationally recognized experts who have served as senior government officials, the TAC team also includes a network of affiliates and strategic partners who share TAC's mission.
Together, the TAC team applies real world solutions to designing, financing, and implementing housing, services, and systems of care in the public sector to improve the lives of vulnerable populations.
